OVER 30 PIECES OF MINE SHOWN IN THE PICTURES GENERATION 1974-1984 AT THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM

As an early member of the group of postconceptual artists connected with CalArts, NSCAD and Hallwalls, I dropped out of the art scene sometime in the 80s and was heard from only sporadically until my inclusion in the Metropolitan’s 2009 survey

THE PICTURES GENERATION 1974-1984.

Unexpected acclaim for local Mail Carrier

I accepted the award on behalf of the Metropolitan for Best Museum Group Show of the Year in Rob Pruitt’s First Annual Art Awards at the Guggenheim.

I gave Tony Clifton a joke which he said he would use.

Stuff from the 70s-80s has been bubbling up. Like this still of me from Out of Hand in an article about Ericka Beckman’s films.

My photo from the Live! Show in 1983 in the Village Voice

and reviewed in the MOMI show

Rock’n'Roll Psychiatrist is 9 minutes into the Live! Show video                Elementary Rock’n'Roll, at Max’s

135 Grand St. was the loft I shared with Nancy Chunn (Radloff). A Band was my band (with Wharton Tiers) and The Static was Daily Life minus moi.

Surprisingly enough I showed up on Milk Studio’s Tiny Vices blog at Wayne’s 2011 show:

Review of Chris Burden’s Match Missile performance at Pomona in 1972 went online in 2010 in East of Borneo.

BFF babymom Amanda Jo Williams made this music video for BIRDCAGE

Following the Metropolitan show I’ve been in several shows in and out of NYC:
